Lots of great stuff is going on at the moment! Best way to tell you? In a list. :)
1 - I bought my first original painting!
Painted with oils by E. Danny Kuykendall, a local artist and a friend of my sister. Great guy and a great musician too!
2 - I listed some of my original artwork from my art journals in my Etsy Shop! How exciting!! More items will be added over time. Fun top secret projects. ;)
3 - Speaking of top secret projects, here's a sneak peek!
Looks just like any normal unfinished background, yes? That's what you think! But it's not! You'll see soon enough.
4 - I completed my thirteenth art journal! WOW.

Beautiful, ain't she? Check out all of her pages here.
5 - In geeky news, my Dungeons & Dragons group just reached Level 16 in our current campaign. To us, THIS IS A BIG DEAL. We're half way to becoming LEGENDS (max level is 30). This is SO awesome to us right now.
So how's life for you, lately?

7 lovelies:
yay too all that especially he D&D news! Half way there is super geekness awesome! :D
I need to be more geeky. It seems productive and enriching.
I have nearly caught up with In The Sun after being ill and missing all the initial fun.
Can feel my baby move stronger each day (which is both scary and lovely, scary because I remember how hard they can kick from previous pregnancy, lovely because it reassured me through my illness)
It's my birthday next Wednesday. I am 27 and don't care. Looking forward to turning 50 and getting my Cruella DeVille hair!
I've eaten a LOT and after being sick for weeks that feels gooooooood
See, you're so much more productive then me
O!
Love the paintings and the journal! Congrats on finishing another! And pretty exciting about the D&D!

Wow, you gave me lots to look at today! Thanks for sharing that whole journal...so fun to "flip through" the pages! I would be curious to find out how you turned your journal pages into prints.
@andria you just gotta have a good camera or a scanner, clean it up in photoshop, and fiddle around with it until it looks good on print. :) It's a lot of hard work and lots of experimentation.
natalie i was looking at your art journal pgs on flickr. like in red headed girl from etsy shop shown above, were you using the black pitt brush pen for all those cool cursive like titles? still loving your style.
@Teddi I was! It's a fantastic pen!! :)
