This week's Technicolor Thursday is Romantic! Flowers, doilies, and soft colors makes me feel fuzzy inside.

palette found on Color Collective
For the background, I had fun splattering paint around! I mixed my paint with A LOT of water, and then dripped it onto my page from my palette. To spread out the puddles, I literally swirled my journal around in a circle, and watched my puddles get bigger and spread out farther. I let that dry, and then lightly painted white over it to calm down the color. I added some light yellow to the corners in a swirled pattern.
Inspired by the picture, I used flowers and doilies in the collage, and added a shipping tag to journal on. Almost forgot to add orange to the piece, so I placed some orange and pick washi tape down into the collage.
The writing is actually lyrics from Matt Natherson's song "Faster" which I was listening to at the moment, and it was perfect for this theme. It's quite a cute song!

Your page is so, so pretty.
I used this color palette for your self portrait challenge. Well at least I tried. I had a hard time keeping it so soft and muted...lol.
