This week was a little tough on me, body and mind! This week I needed to really journal some stuff out.

(Materials: Acrylic paint, washi tape, tissue paper, scrapbook paper, notebook paper, catalog image, faber castell pitt pens)
via Color Collective
I never really use too much green in my pages, so it was fun trying to find a way to squeeze that color in. So I went the easy way out and drew inspiration from the photo palette source and drew a nice vine leading up to the flower in the top right corner.
And I wrote a spin on the classic "Keep Calm and Carry On". I love all types of spin off posters of this saying, and so I just kept telling myself "Keep Calm, and just journal it out." And yes, I did use journal as a verb, you grammar Nazis! Bwaha!
On a different note, I love the focal image! The catalog I got it from (Free People) was full of this girl's photos, and she really really reminds me of Rapunzel from Tangled (if you haven't seen the movie, I demand you go to watch it. NOW) (Not only because I'm a total Tangled junkie, but because it's an amazing movie!)
Hope you enjoyed this week's palette find, and if you are inspired by this palette, do share in the comments and I'll add it to this post!

Great page...I love all the images and elements. I hope you got all "journaled out" so that you are feeling better in mind and body!
you should make a poster with that saying - it is so very inspiring! i need to heed your advice and get some junky-junk out myself.
Awesome! I used an image from that same catalog for the cover of my new journal. :)
ug, im going to make one of those journal scrapbook too, when my day comes that i am able to get me good supplies ... :)
Boo to GNs! Human language has been dynamic since our primeval grunts and there is no such thing as 'correct' only 'current'. So you verbalise however you wish honey! Quentin Tarantino is a screenwriter by trade and can't spell and has barely legible handwriting but the content he creates outweighs all that. Youcan use my middle finger to salute them if you like ;)
Love the colour palette idea. Do you include that in your journal too or is it just put aside?
What a fantastic page! I love the girl, and all the bits you added just add to the beauty.
@ Lianne The color palette is usually put aside. I don't have a printer or anything so I can't keep the palette with the journal page! :(
this is gorgeous!! love the page and the palette.
Your journals are so gorgeous! I haven't seen Tangled yet but it's on my list now.
I love your page ♥ These colors rock! I used them for your Summer Movie Blockbusters prompt.

Visiting from Bad Hausfrau. Fun blog you have here! Great journal pages.
Ah right. Just wondering but do you post everything you journal/make or only the good stuff? Just wondering because everything you produce is soooo good consistently and I find I have good days/bad days and can't decide if I should reveal all my work or just the good stuff.
@Lianne
Suprisingly, from this journal, I have been sharing EVERYTHING! This has been one of my best journals yet. :)
And before this journal, I did share some bad journal pages, but in most cases, I tend to tear out the bad pages before their even done.
I LOVE the concept of "journal it out!" Definitely remembering that phrase :) I agree with Laurie - it would make a great poster.
Thanks Natty. Given me food for thought <3
Love this page a lot Nat!!! Great composition and great blend of collage elements with the writing!!!
